The Error code 2869 is displayed only because the custom action fails to interact with the windows user access control (UAC) in Vista.

“Run as Admin” – work around

• Create a text file with msiexec/i
• Rename the text file as install.bat
• Right click on the file and Select “Run as Administrator” option.
